Who We Are
Campus Compact for New Hampshire (CCNH) is a nonprofit higher education consortium that works to improve learning and strengthen communities by integrating service and civic responsibility throughout college life. CCNH collaborates with the New Hampshire College & University Council and other community and business partners to administer high-impact initiatives such as GEAR UP, New Hampshire Scholars, and AmeriCorps VISTA. These and other initiatives help students succeed in school while providing millions of dollars in services in areas like education, environmental sustainability, health care, poverty, food insecurity, and more.
The Opportunity
The Director of District Implementation is a key leadership position within GEAR UP NH 2.0 and will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of all district level activities to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and professional operation of the project. This position will create collaborative relationships with district stakeholders, including school officials, teachers, school counselors, and families. Additionally, the Director of District Implementation will develop partnerships with local, state, regional and national organizations and agencies in support of GEAR UP NH 2.0 goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the program connected to implementation at the district level including coordination of Memorandums of Agreements, data sharing, and data collection.
- Provide overall direction across partner schools to ensure program activities and outcomes are aligned.
- Manage dissemination of materials and supplies to school partners.
- Collaborate with the Director of College and Career Pathways to facilitate programming across schools and community partners.
- Provide oversight to ensure required student-level data is consistently collected and documented on all GEAR UP NH 2.0 activities and academic success measures in collaboration with the Director of College and Career Pathways.
- Leverage data to target GEAR UP NH 2.0 academic and college access service provision, improve program implementation, and monitor measurable outcomes.
- Assist in identifying data-driven, student-level academic interventions to improve academic readiness of GEAR UP NH 2.0 students.
- Work with families, schools, postsecondary institutions, state agencies, and local groups/organizations to increase student and family knowledge of postsecondary options, testing and admissions requirements, academic course planning, and financial aid.
- Partner with the Director of College and Career Pathways and site coordinators in the development of diverse activities and programs for GEAR UP NH students/parents/guardians to promote increased school interest and involvement, improved achievement, career awareness, and academic progression.
- Assist in the identification, hiring and training of Site Coordinators and College and Career Navigators.
- Supervise College and Career Navigators placed at each partner school beginning in middle school.
Position, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Leadership skills and knowledge in complex organizational systems, college and career readiness, school-based partnerships, and program evaluation.
- Expertise in using data and assessment for coaching and training.
- Experience in program management and supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with diverse community stakeholders, including schools, businesses, government and nonprofit organizations.
- Knowledge of financial aid policies and regulations.
- Excellent written, verbal and oral skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
Position Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a relevant field such as education, nonprofit management, or related; and three years' experience, or, Bachelor's Degree and five years of relevant experience.
- Experience in program management and supervision.
- Experience working in or with K-12 schools,
- Understanding of financial management and federal grant processes.
- Expertise in working with information systems, and data management; lived experience of the students and families being served.
