Oracle DBA

Skills and Responsibilities:
Production environment of Oracle DB and MySQL, SQL Server administration understanding
Demonstrable experience managing technical teams.
Understanding of Operational Acceptance, Disaster Recovery, and High Availability (HA) in a Production environment.
Understanding of Change Management, Incident Management and Release and Configuration management processes.
Infrastructure services delivery using offshore/onshore capabilities; an understanding of the complexities of working with teams.
Ensures availability, security and integrity of assigned databases. Resolves database performance, capacity, replication, and other distributed data issues.
Install, patch and maintain all Oracle software. Installs and configures database management software (DBMS) including RAC and Data Guard and applicable service packs and/or patches.
Develops and implements database maintenance plans, including performing integrity checks, updating statistics and monitoring security and hardware resource utilization.
Advanced knowledge of Oracle RAC
Experience on MS SQL Server Administration is an added advantage.
Candidate should be able to support Oracle database single handed and flexible for 24*7 Candidate should have hands on in Oracle security, patching, replication, always on, log shipping etc.
Hands on experience in Prformance Tuning Exposure of user management and handling/troubleshooting of operation activities Proficient in backup and recovery methods on LUW environment
