Job description
Connection has a terrific direct hire opportunity with one of our home products manufacturers in the Caldwell, Idaho area for a ERP Systems Analyst. This role will be HYBRID, 3 days a week in the office, and 2 days working remotely. The company offers excellent benefits, including a monthly profit share, and matching 401K plan.
As an ERP Systems Analyst, this individual will play a pivotal role in leveraging their in-depth knowledge of gathered requirements and proficiency in NetSuite and associated CPQ software options to develop effective business solutions. In this functional partnership, responsibilities will extend to strategically guiding users through the solution implementation process, conducting software training sessions, and providing comprehensive user support. Midlevel Netsuite experience is a MUST, as well as ERP- Manufacturing. Javascript is also preferred, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up to date knowledge of NetSuite and Configure One functionality, customization, and integration.
- Act as a technical resource for internal departments and users.
- Provide prompt and professional customer service and support for all aspects of NetSuite and Configure One.
- Monitor and perform enhancements, system maintenance, and business process testing for NetSuite and Configure One.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting needs, continuous improvement initiatives, change management, and support for optimal usage within NetSuite and other systems.
- Lead the NetSuite orchestration of business processes such as accounting, distribution, manufacturing, service management, professional services, and workflow analysis.
- Propose system design/enhancements based on business requirements and observed challenges.
- Develop, test, and deploy customizations, custom objectives, new functionality, and Suite Apps based on business needs.
- Develop comprehensive support documents or standard operating procedures for NetSuite workflows or changes.
- Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to understand, capture, and identify complex business requirements and operational objectives.
- Produce professional documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits suitable for users and directors; Document and report on all changes to workflows or processes.
- Collaborate with external resource partners to manage projects and support cases.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of direct NetSuite (or a similar ERP) experience, including record/transaction management and operational knowledge.
- A degree in IT, accounting, business, engineering, or related fields preferred. Experience in IT or another ERP program is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, and business process mapping.
- Ability to utilize defined and structured implementation processes and project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects successfully while meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of common industry business practices related to accounting, sales/manufacturing/inventory management; some understanding of accounting is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, communication, and listening skills required.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal, customer service, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
- Strong ability to use technology to document and analyze data; must be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Must be able to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work primarily in an office environment with moderate noise level.
- Sufficient physical mobility, including the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Local travel is sometimes required, occasional travel out of the area as needed.
