Position Overview: The Contract Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects
This role involves meticulous data entry, contract review, change order management, project support, and coordination with project managers
Additionally, the Contract Administrator will oversee contract closeouts and ensure the accuracy of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) when disseminating information to General Contractors (GCs)
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Review and Management: - Thoroughly review and analyze project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Identify potential issues and discrepancies in contracts and communicate with stakeholders for resolution.
Data Entry and Documentation: - Accurately input and maintain contract-related information in the company's databases and document management systems.
- Create, update, and maintain project files and records, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
Change Order Management: - Assist in the preparation, tracking, and documentation of change orders.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure change orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
Project Support: - Work closely with project managers to help ensure projects run smoothly.
- Assist in scheduling and coordination to avoid project delays and issues.
Contract Closeouts: - Oversee and manage the process of contract closeouts, including finalizing all project documentation and financial reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements during the closeout process.
Certificates of Insurance (COIs): - Review and validate Certificates of Insurance provided by subcontractors.
- Ensure that COIs are accurate and meet project requirements before sharing them with General Contractors.
Qualifications: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, with a strong emphasis on construction.
- Substantial experience working with subcontractors and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
