Medical Assistant - Pediatrics
Frederick, MD
MUST:
Experienced Medical Assistant Pediatrics
Must have Medical Assistant diploma, CNA or be certified
2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Comfortable working with pediatric patients
Must have experience administering immunizations
Experience processing labs
ssisting with exams and procedures
Triaging telephone calls
Taking and forwarding messages
Must have a great attitude and be reliable
EMR experience
Must have worked in a multi-physician practice
DUTIES:
Room patients
Obtain vitals
ssist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms
Provide patient education
ssist with exams and procedures
Process labs
dminister injections
Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patient's medical records prior to their appointment
Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required
Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants
Maintain all logs and required checks
ll other duties as assigned
