Position Location: Independence, MO
Shift Availability: Full Time - Days and Nights - 12 Hours (Rotating
Weekends)

Position Summary: Cardiac nurses assess acute changes in patients. They monitor and analyze the heart rhythm of patients, interpret ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergencies. They have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and can stay calm under pressure.
About the Unit: •
- 36 Bed Cardiac Specialty Unit
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 4 to 5:1
- On Day Shift / 5 to 6:1 on Night Shift - 1 Tech per Hall
Education: - Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN or BSN
License/Certifications - Must hold a current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a Multistate RN license from a
participating compact state required. - BLS certification is required upon
hire - ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date
