The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Marketing to lead our marketing strategies and initiatives. This role is ideal for a visionary leader passionate about brand storytelling, customer engagement, and driving growth in the wellness and cannabis industry. As Director of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's future, expanding our market presence, and enhancing our impact on customers and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our mission, enhance brand visibility, and drive sales growth.
- Lead branding initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms that resonate with our core values of quality, wellness, and sustainability.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content creation, to engage our target audience effectively.
- Collaborate with product development teams to launch new products, ensuring market needs are met with innovation and quality.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for expansion and competitive advantage.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and community organizations to enhance brand reputation and community engagement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the wellness, lifestyle, or cannabis industry.
- Strong understanding of brand development, digital marketing, and consumer psychology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a team and build strong external partnerships.
- Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that drive growth and enhance brand equity.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research, data analysis, and metrics-driven marketing.
