CHI Health Partners is a clinically integrated network (CIN) of providers dedicated to improving the health of the populations we serve. The CHI Health Partners Chapter Medical Director will work with other CIN leaders to build and maintain a high-value provider network focused on quality performance and population health outcomes. The Medical Director will be expected to build strong and collaborative relationships with chapter physicians, advanced care practitioners and other key clinical providers.

 

Medical Director-16 hours a week

Location: St. Francis Hospital, Grand Island, NE

  1. Develop Chapter infrastructure.
  2. Assist CHI Health Partners staff in the identification, development and implementation of clinical initiatives to promote quality and/or efficiency of care by CHI Health Partners network providers.
  3. Chair Chapter committees to include credentialing, care management, peer review, performance review, and others as needed.
  4. Oversee development and implementation of clinical initiatives within the local Chapter to support the CHI Health Partners clinical integration strategy.
  5. Meet with local providers who are interested in working with other providers in their market to improve care for the community.
  6. Promote membership in CHI Health Partners with providers in the Chapter.
  7. Develop appropriate education programs to inform network providers of CHI Health Partners clinical initiatives or important clinical advances.
  8. Be engaged in Chapter duties and attend meetings as requested by leadership of CHI Health Partners.
  9. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities identified through review and analysis of reports to the Clinically Integrated Network Council as they relate to CHI Health Partners.
  10. Promote CHI Health Partners and local Chapter within the local and surrounding community.
  11. Serves as a resource for local members concerning CHI Health Partners activities and programs.
  12. Perform case review/chart review to render a decision to recommend either certification or denial based on the presence of medical necessity and appropriateness for care setting.
  13. Utilize interpersonal skills and techniques in order to maintain a supportive relationship with network hospitals, physicians and ancillary providers.
  14. Work with CHI Health Partners leadership to populate committees with engaged providers focused on the Triple Aim.
  15. Report any quality concerns (real or potential) to CHI Health Partners leadership.

Medical degree. NE Medical license.
