Location : Hybrid. Most of the positions at YCCO are hybrid, meaning they have the flexibility to work both remotely and/or in-person at YCCO's office in McMinnville, OR.

Summary

The Parent Engagement Coordinator is responsible for conducting outreach to Latinx parents of children aged 0-6 to connect families to existing services. This position will also help identify community members interested in a career in childcare, providing them with support and resources.

Essential Duties

  1. Supports the development and implementation of bidirectional communication & outreach strategy to ensure that parents are engaged in family support and school readiness services and that their voice influences the work of the Early Learning Hub (ELH) and its partners.
  2. Builds relationships to ensure that Spanish-speaking parents are supported to access school readiness and family support services. 
  3. Works closely with Childcare Resource & Referral to recruit Spanish-speaking family childcare providers.
