The Quality Specialist is responsible for inspecting and/or testing products before, during, and after the manufacturing process to ensure that products align with company and legal standards 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or suppliers.

 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

 

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance and/or use of devices.

 

Ability to see, hear, and communicate (with or without corrective devices) in a manner that will allow the employee to perform the essential functions in a safe and proficient manner.

 

Employee must be able to conform to current health and safety protocols and may be exposed to various chemicals such as lactol fuel, cleaners, etc.
