Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for our Systems Support Associate 2 position at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. T his position requires strong quantitative and problem-solving skills coupled with an affinity to internal support in a dynamic environment where each individual’s contribution is noticeable. Employee supports software and hardware used by the company in the design, development, or manufacturing of product. The candidate must be able to respond, triage, and debug issues quickl y. This position requires the ability to support appropriate systems as they are developed and deployed. About DTTP

Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands.

May include:

• Gathering business requirements from various groups
• Taking ownership of product issues reported by end-users and following them through to resolution
• Understanding how to configure and troubleshoot associated hardware equipment (computers, scanners, printers, etc.).
• Reading and analyzing application logs
• Providing product knowledge, guidance, and support to internal teams
• Quickly learning new technologies
• Developing training materials and providing support to manufacturing sites, via both on-site and remote methods

Nature & Scope:

• Works within knowledge.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Ensure all issues are properly logged
• Extensive PC experience
• Provides product knowledge, guidance, and support to internal teams
• Familiar with support tickets, call center, and knowledge-based systems
• Asks customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
• Responsible for scheduling and testing deployment of new software to assembly lines

Experience:

• 2-5 years of related experience

Education:

• Associates or B.S degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
