Job description
C&C Lift is a growing forklift dealership. We are looking for a Part Department Associate who is ready for a challenging and rewarding opportunity at our company. This individual will be part of the Parts Department team and be responsible for warehouse and inventory management, purchasing, parts research and sourcing, vendor relations, and warranty claims. The Parts Department Associate will assist the team in maintaining inventory levels to ensure that the Service Department can complete their work in a timely manner without delay. They will provide excellent response and support to our clients, sales, outside vendors and other operating personnel. In addition, this individual will work to ensure a smooth operation in a busy, fast paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Research forklift breakdown descriptions and required parts
- Place orders and issue corresponding purchase orders to vendors
- Answer inbound phone calls from customers and mechanics to fill parts requests
- Order picking and stocking
- Follow up with call-in, walk-in, and internal (department) customers
- Take quotes and orders over the phone for counter customers as well as C&C road techs
- Complete quotes and order via emails (mostly for road techs)
- Create, receive, and bill parts on manual PO’s for mechanics at vendors
- Stock order review/order in EBS based on usage
- Provide daily reports and orders for all EBO purchase orders for Clark, Komatsu, Big Joe, etc.
- Stock review and order batteries for I/C machines and smaller electric jacks
- Handle UPS shipping and receiving when shipper is out
- Provide tire quotes and scheduling for customers with third party vendors
- Bill throughout the month as well as EOM
- Other duties as periodically assigned
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with forklifts (preferred)
- High School Diploma or certified equivalent
- Familiarity working with Windows and Microsoft office suite
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to multi-task
- Can work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods standing, sitting at a desk, typing, and working on a computer
- Can lift up to 50lbs
- Valid driver’s license
