SEWS — Farmington Hills, Michigan Office.Although located at SEWS – Farmington Hills Office, this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work.Associates are required to work at least two days in the office each week, but also have the flexibility to work off-site.

 

Basic Purpose:

Support ECAD activities and software licensing for the business unit.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Support the maintenance of ECAD software (Zuken, Siemens, etc.) in the North American OEM business unit's production environment, as well as the testing environment for version upgrades.
2. Interface with customer ECAD groups to investigate requests; test and deploy ECAD functions within the business unit.
3. Interface with business unit satellite offices within other countries to support ECAD activities.
4. Interface with software sales groups to track license & maintenance costs for budget add/deletes.
5. Interface with software application engineers to resolve software related issues.
6. Create and maintain training materials for ECAD software.
7. Create and maintain methods for library management.
8. Interface with MCAD and internal IT software contacts to find efficiencies within the North American OEM business unit.
9. Interface with the North American OEM business unit programmers to deploy and maintain customized scripts.
10. Track file outputs to internal/customer specifications.

Qualifications:

• 4 year BS or equivalent degree with experience in ECAD
• 1-3 years of ECAD experience
• Proficient in MS applications
