As Gannett Fleming continues to grow and expand, we are looking for a resourceful Architectural Designer to advance their career within our growing Pennsylvania Architectural Studio .

We are looking for someone to sit in our Harrisburg, PA (company headquarters) studio. 

In this role, you will need to be a motivated designer with a positive attitude to support architectural teams and multi-disciplined design efforts. You will be working on projects for national and statewide government agencies focused to improve the public sector. As Architectural Designer , you will have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare concept designs for projects and proposals.
• Prepare architectural working drawings and related project documents.
• Lead or assist in preparation of project specifications. 
• Coordinate construction administration activities such as the review of shop drawings, response to requests for information, and running construction meetings.
• Work collaboratively and positively in a team environment.
• Produce conceptual renderings for project and presentation purposes.
• Be willing to expand your skills and grow professionally.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor of Arts/Science in Architecture is required. B.Arch or Master of Architecture degree is preferred.
• 2-5 years minimum experience in an architectural office is preferred.
• Ability to produce construction documents with an eye towards project management and managerial growth.
• Desire to be a leader.
• High proficiency in REVIT Building Information Modeling Architecture with experience in both design and construction documentation is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu is required.
• Strong graphic skills and experience with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch-Up Pro or similar is desired.
• Experience with 3D Rendering software such as Lumion 3D, Enscape or similar is desired.
• Candidate must have a working knowledge of current International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards such as ANSI, ASTM, ASHRAE etc.
• Candidate must be dynamic, creative and detail oriented.
• Candidate must be able to work effectively in team situations establishing strong working relationships.
• Knowledge of the following building types is desired: transit, transportation, government (federal, state, local)
