Accountant Katy TX
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant Katy TX, who is proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. Responsibilities include invoicing, milestone tracking, maintaining backups, and managing payments for 11 projects monthly. This role may also involve hourly billing and payroll duties. The best candidate for this is someone who is local to Katy and requires little to no training on Quickbooks.

Accountant Katy TX Job Duties:
- Inputting invoices and accounts receivable data using QuickBooks
- Tracking billing and project milestones using Excel
- Filling in State-provided invoices accurately
- Maintaining necessary invoice backups
- Invoicing for 11 projects monthly
- Inputting payments in QuickBooks and paying vendors
- Handling hourly billing through QuickBooks
- Potential responsibility for cutting payroll checks monthly
Accountant Katy TX Requirements:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for invoicing and accounts receivable input
- Experience with Excel spreadsheets for billing tracking
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Prior experience in accounting or related field preferred
- Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be reliable and punctual with excellent attendance record
Location: Katy TX 77493
Pay: $21 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
