Diaconia is an IT Industry leader. We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Java, MongoDB, and Informatica to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives in Java, MongoDB, and Informatica environments.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
- Proven 5+ years working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, specifically with Java, MongoDB, and Informatica projects.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
