Job description
The responsibilities include installing hardware and network in the DC, working on INCs and break-fixes and documenting all MAC in the DC. Maintaining a presence 24X7 in the Denver DC to manage and maintain Vassets. Maintaining availability at all times within the DCs without causing any impact to the business.Data Center Engineer position that requires extensive layer 1 knowledge as well as hardware/cable troubleshooting abilities, experience with racking/stacking/cabling all types of data center assets, and the ability to understand and implement requests from Sysadmins and Network Engineers. Due to the significant amount of data center assets being replaced in 2024, additional resources are needed to assist with installation, decommission, and troubleshooting of any and all types of network and compute appliances in our enterprise data center. Complete all Change tickets on time to meet project demands.Zero human errors caused from working in the data center.SLAs met for responding to Break/Fix and Incident tickets.
