Job description

Rite-Solutions, Inc is currently seeking skilled and motivated candidates for a full time Budget Analyst position. The Budget Analyst supports all aspects of planning, budgeting, execution, tracking and analysis. This requires a strong financial background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position directly supports the CFO and is located in Middletown, RI.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Budget Planning and Analysis
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze company indirect budgets. Collaborate with project managers and department heads to understand budgetary requirements.
• Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and analyze routine and adhoc financial reports highlighting budget variances and providing insights. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Forecasting
  • Work closely with department heads to forecast future budget needs. Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Cost Control
  • Implement cost control measures to optimize indirect expenses. Enforce workflows to ensure proper processing and approvals of indirect expenses.
• Financial Modeling
  • Develop financial models to support decision-making processes. Analyze financial data and present findings to CFO.
• Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align financial requirements with business objectives. Participate in budget review meetings and provide valuable insights.

Requirements / Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7-10 years of proven experience as a Budget / Financial Analyst, preferably in the defense industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling and budgeting techniques.
• Familiarity with government contracting regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Deltek CostPoint.
• U. S. Citizenship required
