Logistics Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients in need of comprehensive shipping and logistics solutions. Leveraging your industry expertise, you'll not only prospect potential clients but also offer insights to optimize their shipping systems. This role entails nurturing strong client relationships, collaborating seamlessly with internal teams to develop customized shipping strategies and staying updated with industry trends.
Logistics Sales Executive Responsibilities:
- Identify, target and onboard new customers seeking top-notch shipping and logistics services
- Analyze potential clients' shipping systems to identify opportunities for enhancement, modification or modernization
- Cultivate enduring relationships with existing clients, prioritizing their satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to devise tailored shipping solutions that cater to client requirements and align with industry best practices
- Conduct thorough market research to discover potential business openings and stay abreast of industry dynamics
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Lead negotiations for contracts and pricing agreements to establish mutually beneficial sales deals
- Keep meticulous records of sales activities, client interactions and sales pipeline within CRM software
- Exceed or meet sales quotas, playing a pivotal part in driving company growth
Logistics Sales Executive Requirements:- Previous experience in sales within the realm of small package shipping or a related field
- Profound comprehension of the shipping and logistics sector, encompassing various transportation modes, customs regulations and supply chain management
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and fostering revenue growth
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Outstanding organizational skills complemented by effective time management
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM software and other relevant sales tools
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or a related domain, or have 3+ years of experience in a sales capacity within a prominent shipping carrier
