About Clear Marine Risk Solutions:
(Formerly a part of International Special Risks – ISR) is a leading writer of recreational marine and ocean marine operations. With over 30 years of in-house underwriting and broker expertise, we assist independent agents and brokers to place a wide array of marine risks. Not all marine risks are created equal. We can serve as a one-stop-shop from a coverage standpoint with many offerings from the top carriers in the marine space.
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting Underwriter with the servicing of commercial lines accounts with a focus on marine accounts in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the handling and servicing of accounts with the Underwriter.
Enter data as requested by Underwriter in various rating systems and reports.
Provide support to the Underwriter on pre-renewal processes.
Maintain cancellation/reinstatement system for commercial accounts.
Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system.
Follow up with client on past due premiums due.
Process endorsement per Agent request in a timely manner with various carriers.
Issue policies and endorsement for as requested by the Underwriter.
Order MVR and review for acceptability.
Responsible for quality work and the provision of excellent customer service.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Underwriter.
Qualifications:
Experience with commercial insurance
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Thorough knowledge of commercial coverages a plus.
Some knowledge of marine a plus
Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
