Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer | Water Resources | Hydrology/Hydraulics
Location: Folsom, CA

Requirements: More than five years of experience in water resources, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar, and a California P.E. License or willingness/ability to obtain within six months of hire
As a key player on our team, the senior water resources engineer will lead and contribute to projects spanning the full spectrum of water resources engineering. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing engineering analyses for agricultural irrigation systems, drainage, flood control, potable water, recycled water, and sewer. In addition, you will be responsible for the following:
- Analysis of erosion control mitigation
- Leading and overseeing assistant and associate staff on projects
- Leading projects associated with water resources analyses and design
- Performing quality control for reports and projects
- Attending meetings, preparing minutes, and addressing action items as required
- Preparing construction stormwater documentation and erosion control mitigation
More than five years of experience in water resources, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar, and a California P.E. License or willingness/ability to obtain within six months of hire and:
- Advanced working knowledge of hydraulic design software such as ArcGIS, CulvertMaster, HEC-RAS, Innovyze, PondPack, StormCAD, WSPG, and/or other similar programs
- Advanced understanding of basic and complex water resources principles
- Proven leadership and effective communication skills
- Proficiency in CAD and roadway design software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or In-Roads
- Ability to occasionally work from a vehicle at project sites
- Ability to occasionally travel to project sites by vehicle and/or plane
- A valid California Driver's License
A competitive compensation of $120,000-$149,000 depending on experience
