Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our highly experienced team at Porter Heart & Vascular Center, the only full-time cardiology clinic serving Interior Alaska and the Far North.

This position offers diverse opportunities involving clinic care and inpatient/ emergency department coverage on designated weeks. Qualifications

NP MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master’s degree in nursing.

Must be approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification.

Requires current RN license in state of practice. Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner. Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing. Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility.

Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

DNP or PhD preferred. Current BLS certification preferred. A minimum of 3 years previous relevant experience preferred.
