The Overlake School seeks a full-time Middle and Upper School Video Production and Design teacher for the 2024-25 school year to start in mid-August, 2024.

The Overlake Arts department's mission is to engage students in creative thinking through a broad spectrum of opportunities. With the goal of inspiring life-long involvement in and appreciation for the visual and performing arts, we strive to provide spaces where students can be expressive, safely take risks, share ideas, and collaborate in the creative process. Responsibilities:
This teacher will work in both middle and upper school divisions, teaching middle school and upper school video production, and additional electives in either graphic design, Art & Technology, technical theater, stagecraft, and/or play production. Play or musical production classes may be taught in collaboration with other arts faculty.
Overlake seeks an outstanding educator who will contribute to our school community both in and outside of the classroom. Additional required duties may include supervising a club, chaperoning Experiential Education programming, leading a Project Week course, or facilitating an affinity group. Faculty are expected to lead an advisory (homeroom) after year one. Faculty are also expected to collaborate with colleagues to prepare for classes and contribute to the overall development and reflection of courses in the department.
Salary: $57,200 - $105,542 Depending on Education and Experience
