Position : Manager of Claims Health Plans

Location : Corvallis, OR 97330

Job Type: Full-time(perm)

Shift : Days

Start : TBD

*** Hybrid position, will be onsite in Corvallis 2-3 times a week or more if needed***

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field, or equivalent direct claims experience required.
• Three (3) years management experience in a health plan claims department required.
• Experience or training in the following required:
• Collecting, analysing and displaying statistical reports by computerized technology.
• Basic medical terminology.
• Medicare and/or Medicaid experience preferred.
• Must be COVID Vaccinated.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and process the information needed to fulfil medical insurance claims.
• Resolve billing issues in addition to processing routine claims
• Investigate unpaid claims and resolve discrepancies
• Propose improvements in the guidelines based on claims and other experiences
