Job description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the Cashier Cage and Players Club operations: responsible for establishing and enforcing policies and procedures aimed at ensuring asset protection, excellent customer service and compliance with internal controls/regulations.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Manages the Cashier Cage Guest Service personnel to ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Determines manpower requirements and schedules.
- Approves check cashing privileges/credit privileges within authorized levels.
- Oversees the confidentiality of all records.
- Works closely with other internal departments to ensure services related to Cashiers/ Players Club are provided to gaming guests.
- Directly oversees Supervisory staff giving leadership guidance and ensuring Supervisors maintain team member job satisfaction
- Maintains awareness of any new developments in Cashier Guest Service programs and executes new initiatives
- Champions customer service initiatives and inspires staff to provide excellent customer service and exceed service score goals
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - 5 - 7 years' experience in gaming with at least two years in a supervisory capacity and 5 years' experience in financial/cashier areas.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Excellent written and communication skills in fluent English necessary
- Ability to obtain a Gaming License from the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Ability to lead.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations, auditing procedures and accounting practices
- Proficiency with personal computer spreadsheet software
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other team members and always presents oneself as a credit to GSR and encourages others to do the same
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: - Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds and lift/carry 40 pounds
- Capable of standing for long periods of time and walking, stooping, and reaching at least 2' across the counter
- Ability to talk, hear, have good close/distance vision and differentiate between colors,
Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
