Job description
Stevenson Consulting, Inc., a full-service engineering consulting firm serving the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf Coast of the US, has an immediate opening for an in-office full-time Contract Administrator position in our Midlothian, VA office
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the day-to-day operation of the Contracts Department
- Facilitate contract review, negotiations, and ratification
- Prepare and manage sub-consultant and vendor contracts
- Liaise with clients, sub-consultants, vendors, and internal departments to accomplish the Contracts Department’s objectives
- Advise internal departments of contractual rights and obligations
- Maintain accurate contractual records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in contract administration
- Understanding of contracting principles and legal terms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and demonstrated analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and efficiently manage time
- Strong command of MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
