Youth Sports Training & Family Entertainment Facility Manager
Job Overview:
The Youth Sports Training & Family Entertainment Facility Manager is responsible for the overall operation and management of a youth sports training facility . This role involves overseeing daily operations , developing and implementing training programs , managing staff, coordinating events, and ensuring a positive and safe environment for young athletes . The manager should have a passion for youth sports , a strong understanding of athletic training principles, and effective leadership and organizational skills .
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Operations:
- Ensure the smooth day - to - day operations of the facility , including opening and closing procedures , equipment maintenance , and cleanliness .
- Manage facility schedules, including training sessions , events , and rentals . Program Development:
- Design, implement, and oversee youth sports training programs that align with the facility's goals and cater to various age groups and skill levels.
- Collaborate with coaches and trainers to develop specialized training sessions in different sports.
Staff Management:
- Recruit , hire , train , and supervise coaching staff and support personnel. Conduct regular staff meetings , training sessions, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Customer Relations:
- Interact with parents , athletes, and community members to address concerns, provide information , and maintain positive relationships .
- Collect and respond to feedback to continuously improve programs and services . Marketing and Promotion :
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones .
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and online content .
Event Coordination:
- Plan , organize , and execute events such as tournaments, showcases, youth camps, and competitions.
- Coordinate with external organizations, sponsors, and vendors as needed. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for the facility, programs , and events .
- Monitor financial performance, implement cost - control measures, and seek revenue - generating opportunities.
Safety and Compliance :
- Ensure the facility adheres to safety standards and regulations .
- Implement and enforce policies related to participant safety, equipment usage, and facility rules .
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in sports management, recreation, or a related field (or equivalent experience) .
- Previous experience in youth sports management, coaching, or facility management. Strong knowledge of various youth sports and training methodologies.
- Excellent organizational , communication , and leadership skills .
- CPR and first aid certifications may be required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
