- Drives improvements to production capacity, efficiency, process safety and environmental performance in accordance with plant goals and objectives.
- Interface between manufacturing and Product Specialists to assist in the release and testing of finished products. Ability to investigate process as well as analyze data to look for trends.
- Gatekeeper for new technology, trials and implementation regarding product, raw material, process and equipment.
- Participate unit MOC & MOOC process
- Scale-up interface between development and plant production. Actively participates in plant trials.
- Works with Manufacturing Experts on resolving technical issues
- Leverages improvements between different sites or industries to continuously improve the technology and the production process.
- Continuous engagement in the production facility to identify and remove barriers inhibiting flawless production
- Works with Capital Project Owner on process discipline related project design and installations.
- BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years experience in manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate internally and externally with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to work with other groups, such as Management, Maintenance and Operations
- Excellent problem solving skills and analytical skills. Use of Minitab statistical analysis software is a plus.
- Strong computer skills
