Warehouse Manager

Shift: 7am- 3:30pm (Please note this role is salary and these hours may vary as needed)

• Supervise all facets of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping, to guarantee a smooth workflow and punctual order fulfillment.

• Formulate and execute inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and prevent stockouts.

• Spearhead the creation and execution of a cycle counting program for precise inventory management and minimal discrepancies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, quality assurance) to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely material availability.

• Employ warehouse management systems (WMS) and tools to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and generate management review reports.

• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance, including inventory turnover rate, order fulfillment accuracy, on-time delivery, and productivity.

• Analyze KPI data to identify trends, improvement areas, and opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 13485, and OSHA standards in warehouse operations.

• Train warehouse staff on GMP, ISO 13485, OSHA standards, SOPs, safety protocols, and best practices. • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.

• Conduct routine audits and inspections to address compliance issues or safety hazards.

• Maintain thorough documentation and record-keeping for warehouse operations.

• Uphold compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies for a safe and organized warehouse environment.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Act as a liaison between warehouse operations and other departments to facilitate communication, address issues, and ensure alignment of goals and objectives.

• Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement among warehouse staff

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse management, preferably in a medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.

• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and JIT inventory systems.

• Proficient in all Microsoft office applications.

• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team of warehouse personnel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in inventory management and data analysis.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to medical device manufacturing (e.g., FDA regulations, ISO standards) is desirable.

• Forklift experience with an operator certificate.

• Hazardous material handling certificate a plus.

• Experience utilizing Deacom ERP a plus.

- Forklift trainer cert/exp
