Roblox is looking for a motivated and creative Communications Intern for Summer 2024. We are looking for someone who is passionate about all aspects of communications/PR and ready to contribute ideas. You will help manage projects and be an active and engaged participant. At Roblox, you'll do meaningful work while overseeing and collaborating on projects with our team and PR agencies.
You Will: - Assist with daily media coverage tracking and reporting
- Research media landscape/contacts and trends for specific story ideas, news placements and speaker programs
- Draft content for media pitches, internal announcements, and other mediums
- Help develop processes for tracking trends, newsworthy data and facilitating community interviews for ongoing story placements in collaboration with our PR agencies
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop creative formats for news delivery for targeted audiences
You Have: - Required: Pursuing a BS or higher level of education in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, or related fields
- Preferred: previous internship in PR/communications
- Passion for career in PR, writing and storytelling
- Strong organizational and relationship building skills
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown below are applicable to internship opportunities.
Hourly Pay Range
$34-$36 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
