Overview This position provides direct oversight to employed sonographers for all Partners in Women's Health locations. This position ensures compliance with all requirements for AIUM accreditation and works closely with the Practice Director and Physician Director of Ultrasound on any ongoing issues. The position ensures that all sonographers are properly trained and current with certification in OB/GYN ultrasound. This position will work with the PWH leadership to create standardized workflow and scheduling protocols within the Women's Service Line.
What you will do - Provide leadership, training, coaching and development for office based RMG sonographers.
- Ensures compliance of items pertaining to AIUM accreditation
- Completes quality checks/audits for all ultrasound staff
- Performs and evaluates equipment and quality control measurements
- Ensures the efficient operation of workflow of the department
- Anticipates and evaluates each location for supply management using Lean Principles
- Performs ultrasounds to standard in all locations as needed (access)
- Develops and maintains ultrasound clinical protocols for service line
Qualifications Education - High School Diploma or GED, RDMS board certification to include Obstetrics & Gynecology; ARDMS approved school/program or registry eligible (Required)
- Associates Degree, RDMS board certification to include Obstetrics & Gynecology; ARDMS approved school/program or registry eligible (Preferred)
Experience - 3-4 years OB/GYN Ultrasound experience (Required)
- 5-6 years OB/GYN Ultrasound experience with direct reports (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Obstetrics and Gynecology Upon Hire(Required)
- Valid Drivers License Required
