Position: Distribution Administrator (Safety)

Duration: 2- 4 Months
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Distribution Administrator to join our team in Springdale, AR. This temporary position will primarily focus on handling accident reports and driver issues within our distribution network. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Excel and strong communication skills to effectively communicate with drivers and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive calls from drivers regarding accidents and issues with their trucks.
- Collect detailed information from drivers regarding accidents, damages, and other related issues.
- Complete electronic forms accurately and efficiently for each reported incident.
- Input information into various systems including Claims and Driver Evaluation System.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, supervisors, and external auditors as needed.
- Assist with comparing and analyzing accident data from previous years.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to drivers and customers in potentially stressful situations.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, particularly Excel. Familiarity with Outlook, SharePoint, and SAP is beneficial.
- Experience: 1-2 years of office experience, preferably in a customer service role. Experience in trucking, logistics, or dispatch is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to ask detailed follow-up questions and communicate effectively with drivers and customers.
- Patience: Ability to remain patient and focused in challenging situations.
- Curiosity: Interested in asking detailed questions and gathering all necessary information from drivers.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn on the job and apply learned information effectively.
- Work Ethic: Proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and make decisions independently.
