Job description
Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner. Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient's progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.
- Utilizes evidenced based practices in treatments and presents in-service research/techniques/scholarly articles to clinic staff quarterly.
- Participate in marketing programs to promote hospital service lines associated to physical therapy topics.
- Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers and managers.
- Maintain highest standards of service through continuing education at professional seminars or workshops improving personal skills and knowledge, and to fulfill the requirements for continuing education as mandated by the APTA.
- Promotes the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of those we serve.
Education: Graduate from an accredited school with a degree in Physical Therapy.
Experience: One or more years of experience preferred. New graduates eligible and encouraged to apply.
Licenses/Certificates: Must possess and maintain a current State of Illinois Physical Therapist license. Current American Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.
