Job description
We are a leading meat processer that is looking to expand out team!
The Food Safety & Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that the products and processes of the company meet applicable food safety and quality standards. This includes maintaining and improving the Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) program, and ensuring compliance with HAACP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control and food safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular food safety and quality audits.
- Track and analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Identify and resolve quality and food safety issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all quality control and food safety activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and quality regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on food safety and quality topics.
- Maintain and update HACCP plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Control or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Food Safety & Quality Managerial role.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and processes.
Benefits - Base Salary - $80,000 - $100,000
