Job Description:

We are looking for an individual who would be responsible for the following: Collecting and analyzing power test results on Mac platforms Identifying and isolating issues using debugging and data analysis skills Writing test reports and communicating identified issues Designing tests and test plans to assess power impact of new HW/SW features Unboxing and setting up on average 10-20 new Mac systems each month Maintain lab test equipment and infrastructure as requested by the team Prioritizing tasks and communicating status regularly to the team On-going documentation of test processes for future reference Must-Have Skills BS EE/CS or 3+ years QA test experience Knowledge of Mac hardware and/or macOS Strong attention to detail and ability to deep dive technically Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to concisely present complex data Familiarity in Python or shell scripting to support basic automation scripting Preferred Skills Experience in testing HW Understanding of computer architecture, EE fundamentals, and concepts of power consumption and power management Ability to quickly learn new technologies Familiar with lab equipment like DMMs and power meters Adjust to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
