Job Description:

At the core of BlackRock’s technology arm, Aladdin, data is pivotal in driving innovation and competitive advantage. The Data Product and Pipeline Engineering organization is entrusted with creating, managing, and evolving a cutting-edge data platform essential for the diverse needs of our global clientele, including investors, operations teams, and data scientists. Our aim is to architect a data infrastructure that not only meets the current demands but is also scalable for future expansion, leveraging modern data engineering technologies to maintain our leadership in the financial sector.

As a Managing Director, you will lead the entire spectrum of data product and pipeline engineering teams, encompassing Reference, Index, Market, and Client Data. This role is pivotal in strategizing, architecting, and delivering solutions that are crucial for the scalability and efficiency of our data ecosystem. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the adoption of scaled Agile development practices and modern data technologies across global teams, ensuring that BlackRock remains at the forefront of technological innovation in the financial industry.

Our hybrid work model
