Job description

Optometrist (OD)
Currently seeking an Optometrist for a full-time opportunity with a full scope, patient focused private practice in the New Haven area.
Benefits for the Optometrist (OD)
-Private practice with 2 locations
-New Haven/Middlesex County
-Part or full-time
-Practice treats a lot of glaucoma, diabetes, dry eye etc. in addition to vision exams
-Co-management of cataract and glaucoma surgical patients
-Avg 3-4 patients per hour with tech and scribe
-Ability to provide exam in Spanish would be a bonus but not required
-Competitive salary for full time, per diem for part time
-Equipment includes OCT, Optos, Retinal Camera, Visual Field, etc.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)
-Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
-Diagnose disease and vision disorders
-Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)
-Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
-License to practice in the state of CT
-Excellent clinical and communication skills
-Ability to thrive in a team environment
