Media Lead - Programmatic *Remote*
BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT
This position maintains internal partnerships and ongoing support of marketing and ecommerce promotional activities for Kohl’s, while focusing on driving omni-channel sales through strategic data and media activation and serves as a primary daily contact to our external and internal partners.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Media Planning and Execution
•
Develop holistic media strategies to support key events or initiatives
•
Establish and track benchmarks and key performance indicators of campaigns in tandem with external agency partner(s)
•
Analyze media plans to optimize effectiveness and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and impact
•
Lead accountability efforts of all partners for media delivery and optimizations, recommending opportunities to drive efficiencies
Analysis and Reporting
•
Analyze and evaluate current trends in the marketplace and provide perspective to leadership for evolution of programs
•
Communicate digital marketing performance reporting and insights to team members
•
Partner with key stakeholders to share results of omni-channel media programs and tests with appropriate internal teams, complete with go forward learnings and actions
•
Maintain forecasting and billing reconciliation process for media initiatives
•
Work closely with marketing analytics and external partners to assist in the development of program attribution

•
Digital video knowledge
•
Experience operating in an environment executing media campaigns with several objectives
•
Deep expertise working with a DCO technology
•
Experience creating and managing decision trees
•
Experience working with feeds
•
Experience working with multiple ad serving partners
Social
•
Extensive working knowledge of media planning against all the social platforms
•
Partner closely with personalization team to consult, inform and help drive innovation of social media initiatives
•
Evaluate social platform proposals in partnership with external vendor partners
•
Inform, establish and evaluate data driven audience creation
•
Partner with content team to align on audience and content strategy
•
Manage promoted social calendars inclusive of all key media and performance metrics in tandem with external agency partner(s)
•
Experience utilizing PMD tech and operating directly within the platforms
•
Experience working with large sets of data (AAM, LiveRamp, etc.)
•
Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minimum of 3-5 years of paid social media experience
Programmatic
•
Work inside a buying technology platform to steward campaigns (budget, pricing, bid optimization, frequency management, ad set, etc.)
•
Responsible for VVF monitoring and stewardship
•
Lead forecasting audience demand and budgeting Develop strong internal and external partnership (day to day contact)
•
Analyze performance data to recommend optimization plans and inventory supply strategies
•
Work within a DMP to create audience segments and push to buying technology
•
Experience in programmatic media (ideal)
•
Experience working in DV360, Yahoo and Microsoft DSP's (ideal)
Email
•
Extensive knowledge of email and/or mobile marketing
•
Responsible for planning and execution of all email activities including marketing, transactional, trigger
•
Knowledge of targeting and segmentation strategies and tactics
•
Utilize data and analytics to deliver relevant content to customers
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
•
Advanced understanding of respective media channel(s)
•
Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minimum of 3-5 years of internet marketing experience
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite
•
Expert level proficiency working in a buying technology
PREFERRED
•
Self-starter with proven success in a fast-paced work environment
•
Strong listening and negotiating, and organization skills
