The Role

We're searching for a dynamic Vice President of Operations & Construction to lead our real estate fix & flip and rental acquisition division. This role is at the heart of our operations, focusing on facility operations and aligning them with our strategic goals. We need a seasoned expert with a background in property acquisitions, rehab, and construction management to guide our acquisition efforts, manage projects, and find cost-effective solutions that drive our success.

Key Responsibilities

Forge and execute strategies for acquiring distressed properties through wholesalers, off-market sources, and auction platforms.
Guide and nurture a team of professionals to refine acquisition processes and achieve objectives.
Oversee the acquisition lifecycle from prospect identification to deal closure.
Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Perform market analysis, financial evaluations, and negotiations to ensure profitable acquisitions.
Spearhead initiatives to boost efficiency and optimize returns.
Deliver detailed financial analyses and reports to executive leadership.

Qualifications

3-5 years of direct experience in acquiring distressed properties via multiple channels.
Skilled in using auction and off-market platforms, CRM systems, and managing budgets strategically.
Proven track record in negotiating and closing real estate deals.
Strong leadership capabilities and team management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant real estate software.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting and meeting tight deadlines.
In-depth understanding of the legal and financial dimensions of real estate transactions.
Open to traveling up to 30% within the Central Valley area of California.
