Job description
A leading high-frequency trading firm is seeking a seasoned Trading Operations and/or Support expert to join their fixed income desk. This role is tailored for individuals with 2-5+ years of experience in trading support or operations attached to the fixed income asset class.
Your Role:
- Managing the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades and positions for the Fixed Income Trading desk
- Ensure the timely settlement of trades, accuracy of books and records, and effective risk management
- Collaborate with software engineers to actively contribute to the automation and enhancement of operational workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and secure trading operations
- Conduct challenging and stimulating data analysis
- Contribute to the architecture of new systems and controls
Qualifications:
- 2-10 years of experience in trading support/operations roles or comparable positions
- Experience supporting Fixed Income
- Experience with trade pricing, settlements, clearance, and reconciliation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Excel, and SQL
