Tropical Smoothie of Idaho is looking for a highly dedicated District Manager, prepared to make a huge impact on the 5 Idaho Tropical Smoothie Cafes. Salary potential is $70K+ when goals are achieved. We are looking for an outgoing personality, someone who embraces kindness and willing to be ALL IN.

We are looking for a true leader that can build an excellent and committed management team, with a goal to #Inspirebetter. Having a great relationship with your general managers is critical to your success and the success of the company as a whole. In order to be a great coach, you will need to learn to be a great crew member(learning all prep, smoothie, food and cleaning tasks). Being the first one willing to jump on the food or smoothie line when it gets busy would be one of your best traits. We are looking for an individual that we take the provided systems and ensure that they are implemented across each of the cafes. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Loves to find a way to make their work FUN!
• Can smile through nearly any situation or scenario
• Willing to go to any cafe and fill in on-shift if needed.
• Hires and trains Managers
• Works to build a team that will deliver an amazing customer experience.
• Ability to coach all levels of staff to do all processes properly
• Assist in building a fun work environment.
• Willing to jump in and do any task in the cafe, including cleaning and organization.
• Track All Cafes Equipment and Maintenance
• Review Sales and Inventory with Managers and continually coach to achieve goals
• Monitor cafes daily and assist in labor efficiencies and sales channels
• Understand all Back of House Systems, Front of House Systems and common reporting

Assist Managers with:

• Presenting a consistent, professional image of the café & crew by maintaining all sanitation & appearance standards.
• Monitoring sales growth & cost control of the café against the budgeted expectation & historical performance, to ensure that profit goals are met.
• Maintaining & exceeding customer expectations to build brand loyalty.
• Communicating & stays updated on all marketing & promotional materials.
• Executing marketing & sales programs, following appropriate guidelines.
• Building café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community & initiating local store marketing campaigns.

Additional Requirements:

• A positive attitude and a desire to be the best.
• Problem solving skills are important - 1000 moving parts need someone who is mechanically inclined
• Managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field required.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training & developing employees.
• Willing to learn all positions and jump in and help your team when necessary.
• Experience in growing sales & providing excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house & back of the house.
• Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods & labor.
• Strong skills in understanding P&L reports & budgets.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
