Job description
The Sous Chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in a kitchen.
This will involve a large degree of supervising other kitchen staff. As assistant to the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will help with menu planning, inventory, and managing supplies.
Throughout the space of Public, a modernist sensibility is blended with a classic American, Newport mansion drawing room theme.
It’s design is inspired by the existing architecture of the Masonic Temple and it’s Rhode Island Capital Statehouse neighbor.
Public’s masculine and warm setting will be a meeting place for hipsters and Senators alike.
