Backend Engineer for a Global Device Company in Santa Clara Valley, CA

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced backend engineer with a proven record of building web services that serve analytical use cases, interface with databases or search indexes, and provide other core services. Join a dynamic team to play a key role in developing essential tools to streamline our processes and enhance team efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Build and operate the following tools:

• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tool for product feature releases.
• Data Migration Utility to add robustness to the availability of our customer data in bootstrapping and disaster recovery stages.
• Monitoring and Change Verification Utility to keep track of the fidelity of our data with respect to deployed changes.

Qualifications:

• Java
• Gradle
• Springboot
• Spring to JDBC, Java ORM
• Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications:

• UI Development stack - React, Vue, or Angular
• Spark, Kafka, Flink
• Go

Location: Santa Clara Valley, CA or Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Type: 3+ month contract

Hourly Range: $97/hr - $107/hr (DOE)
