Sinus RN (PRN/Per Diem) - Ear Nose and Throat Specialist of Florida Fort Myers, FL
Do your life's best work! The RN will be responsible to assess, plan, develop, organize, implement, and to evaluate patient care services and activities for the Sinus Institute.
The RN will be responsible for creating an environment of patient-focused care, by defining standards for quality patient care, managing and developing coordination of patient care, mentoring and training new nurses and other medical assistant staff of the Institute and providing leadership.
The RN will report to Physicians and Practice Administrator.
What you'll do: - Ensure continual delivery of high quality nursing care.
- Oversees coordination of patient care from pre-procedure, during procedure, and post procedure appointments.
- Oversees quality assurance in The Sinus Institute.
- Develop, adopt and implement innovative nursing practices to improve facility.
- Ensures that nurses and other clinical staff, of the Sinus Institute, remain in compliance with professional development, certifications and regulatory standards.
- Maintains a healthy, collaborative team environment.
- Manages patient care with doctors and surgical schedulers.
- Delegates duties, to other nurses and staff, as deemed necessary.
- Provides training/orientation to new nurse employees and other clinical staff of The Sinus Institute.
- Orders and manages inventory for The Sinus Institute.
- Maintains all appropriate medical equipment maintenance and cleaning logs as per Sinus Institute and OSHA protocols.
- Ensures that Infection Control Protocols are followed.
- Develops and updates The Sinus Institute procedures, protocols and policies as needed.
- Makes recommendations to Physicians and Practice Administrator to improve patient care and positive outcomes in The Sinus Institute.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities as a nurse in The Sinus Institute.
Who you are - Registered Nurse, BSN
- 5 years of nursing experience
- Current Florida RN License
- Has excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Can work efficiently under time constrain.
- Has strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with doctors and all other staff.
- Is able to handle emergencies and guide other staff in emergency situations.
- Current BCLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
