Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys to provide legal counsel, representation, and support in matters related to manufactured housing law. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on matters related to manufactured housing law to support case strategies and provide informed advice to clients.
- Assist in the preparation of residency documents, contracts, and legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, as well as representing clients in court when necessary.
- Interact with clients to understand their legal needs, provide guidance, and address inquiries, fostering strong client relationships.
- Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that legal advice and documents align with the latest legal standards.
- Assist in negotiation processes and alternative dispute resolution methods to resolve legal issues efficiently and amicably.
- Work closely with other team members, including paralegals and administrative staff, to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.
Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing.
- 5-10 years of general litigation experience, including taking depositions and propounding and responding to discovery. (Experience in manufactured housing law not required.)
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
