Job Overview
Mr. Wish Herndon-Reston is looking for part time and full-time team members!
We are looking to hire weekday part time employees serving fresh fruit and tea based brinks in a brand new, fun boba shop. We are looking for both team members and shift leads and offer competitive salary plus tips.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to work daytime shifts during weekdays.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
- Must be able to learn drinks menu and pass a written, online exam.
- Must be friendly and personable and work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail and exceptional customer service are required.
- Shift leads must already possess or pass and maintain Virginia Food Manager Safety certification.
- Must be able to perform cashier duties, count money and make change quickly and accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering suggestions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food and beverage items
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Upsell additional products or menu items to customers
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Duties
- Craft delicious fruit and tea based boba drinks
- Perform routine cashier tasks such as ringing up customers, explaining drink options and answering customer questions
- Fulfill DoorDash/GrubHub orders when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain general store cleanliness
- Follow operational procedures for cash handling, safety/sanitation, and security
Experience
- Barista, Boba Shop, Coffee Shop or other food retail experience preferred but not necessary
