Job description
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIESManages the overall implementation and fiscal review of grants, contracts and entitlement programs at University Health. Complies with and enforces University Health policies and procedures. Assures funded programs are implemented in accordance with federal, state and/or funder guidelines. Develops and implements clinical protocols, practice and preventive guidelines and assists with development of curriculum and patient education materials.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. A master’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred. At least 2 years recent experience in health care setting required. Must have a minimum of five years of experience in directly managing programs or grants. Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
LICENSUREIf applicable, must be a registered nurse currently licensed in the State of Texas.
