RN Clinical Manager

We currently have a position available for a Clinical Manager with Home Health care experience!
This position is only for an onsite location in our Southfield office and the individual will provide clinical management support throughout our service area. Must have Oasis D1, Medical Coding, and Wellsky/Kinnser Software Knowledge to qualify for this position.

The Clinical Manager ensures quality and safe delivery of home health care services; coordinates services that reflect the Agency's philosophy and standards of care; and plans, develops, implements and evaluates Agency services, programs, and activities.
Responsibilities
- Organizes and directs the Agency's ongoing liaison among the Governing Body, Professional Advisory Committee, and staff.
- Planning, organization, directing, and evaluating operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services
- Employs qualified personnel and ensures adequate staff education and evaluations.
- Ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
- Implements an effective budgeting and accounting system; assures accuracy for billing procedures.
- Assist in staffing, recruiting, and onboarding clinicians
- Train and develop employees to conduct monthly in-service
- Shares copies of philosophy with all employees.
- Consistently follows Agency policies and procedures to set an example for employees.
- Reviews Agency manuals once per year for completeness.
- Assesses employees on an ongoing basis to ascertain their understanding of policies and procedures.
- Assists employees to support policies and achieving necessary changes.
- Uniformly enforces policies and procedures.
- Maintains two-way communication with employees and fair administration of personnel policies.
- Documents employee problems in personnel files.
- Disciplines employees as necessary.
- Directs the Agency's ongoing functions.
- Fiscal planning, budgeting, and management of operations in accordance with established fiscal parameters
- Monitors equipment abuse and takes steps to keep it to a minimum.
- Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the Agency.
- Supervise Assistant Clinical Manager is available during all operating hours.
- Ensure that the HHA employs qualified personnel, including assuring the development of personnel qualifications and policies.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing
- Current state license as an RN
- Training and experience in health services administration and at least two (1) years of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or related health program.
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Compassionate, friendly demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
- Ability to deal effectively with high levels of stress.
- Ability to enlist the cooperation of many people in furthering a program.
