Our staff is well-trained and highly skilled qualities that are vital to maintaining excellence in care and service. Mercy Imaging Centers a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation provides cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services at 16 locations in the greater Sacramento and Woodland areas. Our team of 160 staff members work with our specialty trained and board certified radiologists to provide high quality care to our patients. The locations perform more than 175000 exams annually with the goal of providing top quality imaging compassionate care and timely service with a smile.

The Imaging Office Lead provides the day-to-day work flow assignments, direction and guidance as needed for front office personnel. Provides proper training and orientation to new hires. Tracks training progress utilizing a preplanned training schedule. Assesses workflow and structure for more efficient and effective ways of performing the job. The Imaging Office Lead position is the first point of customer service contact for our patients, physicians, management and other clinic staff, internal and external laboratory and imaging staff, hospital staff, patient family members, and vendors by offering customer service, communications, training, and appropriate distribution of phone calls and messages. The Imaging Office Lead may also perform a variety of other duties including but not limited to collecting and updating demographics and insurance information, verification of health plan eligibility, taking complete and accurate messages, and scheduling mutually acceptable appointment times utilizing an electronic practice management system. The Imaging Office Lead may also be asked to perform other clerical duties as needed and requested to support daily clinic operation goals, bench marks, and quality patient care initiatives per departmental guidelines. Demonstrates the highest level of integrity when dealing with financial transactions and confidential information. Reports to the Imaging Office Supervisor and functions as the primary contact and liaison at assigned site. May be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed. This position may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card transactions, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) from single transactions or a single card at a time.
