Introduction

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset? Do you have a passion for the insurance industry and a desire to contribute to the underwriting process? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as an Underwriting Assistant. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the underwriting team by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting with the overall underwriting process. Join our team and be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact.

How you'll make an impact

• Performs rating and policy processing functions for commercial property and casualty insurance policies within a defined market direction.
• Gains knowledge and expertise to handle all facets of insurance transactions meeting service standards and following operational processes and procedures.
• Has frequent contact and works well with all members of the underwriting and marketing teams to meet gather information to assist underwriting decisions.
• Does not have any assigned Production or Service goals.

About you

Required: Bachelor's degree, no experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.

Preferred: Adobe
